Genesis

- Kendriya Vidyalaya,Hinjilicut was innagurated on 29/10/2015 by Hon’ble Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Laxmi Chari, Regional Office, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Bhubaneswar and Shri Prem Chand Choudhury, IAS, Collector and District Magistrate, Ganjam and Chairman, VMC of the Vidyalaya. It has started functioning since then with Classes I to V for the session 2015-16 with the provision of upgradation by one class in subsequent academic sessions. Presently Vidyalaya is functioning temporarily in the campus of Brindaban Vidyapith, Hinjilicut. 8 acres of land has already been transferred to Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan for the construction of permanent Vidyalaya building by the sponsoring agency i.e., State Govt..
- Hinjilicut is about 25 kilometers from Berhampur (Odisha) the main city of southern Odisha on the main road from Berhampur to Aska well connected by public transport system.
